Srinagar, Kashmir, India
In the autumn of 2008, in the weeks between September and October, I’ve spent some six weeks documenting the ongoing conflict and the current Situation on the Indian side of Kashmir. During that time some 70 people got killed during the protest against the Indian Forces, which are by the majority of the Muslim population seen as oppressors. The Kashmir conflict is the longest unresolved conflict in the history of the United Nations and hast cost already over 60.000 lives on both sides while some 10.000 people are still missing.
